It's not the list I would make.. "Blade Runner"???, "Heaven's Gate"???, Jim Jarmush???, "Blue Velvet"?

A lot of the movies seems to be on the list from technical viewpoints, rather than as movies.. Disney sure has made a lot of movies that better than "Snow White", which lacks both in terms of story and technique, still that's the one Disney on the list. Because it's regarded as the classic one or.. ?
Psycho is excellent from a storytelling viewpoint, of what you can do with storytelling, but it's far from the greatest of movie, as well as far from Hitchcocks best.

I guess one problem is that, you're always fed the fact that these are the classics. The great ones, and that's in the mind of everybody. Mention 25 great movies, and you're likely to end up with some you think should be on the list, because you kinda have to have it on the list. Gone with the wind, Citizen Kane, Casablanca etc, is that kind of movies. Not bad movies, but not the greatest ones neither..
